Goodwill Integrated Day Services build independence and improve quality of life.

At Goodwill we provide a variety of services for adults to help give them the tools necessary to sharpen their skills, meet new challenges and create more rewarding and independent lives.

Pre-Vocational Program

Goodwill offers pre-vocational training for individuals with disabilities and mental illness. Pre-vocational services are available for up to two years to support additional soft skill development with a goal to become work ready. Paid worksite training occurs at Goodwill and may include community employer worksites.

Community Supported Employment Program

Upon successful completion of pre-vocational training, work ready individuals may transition to community supported employment.   Goodwill provides the following supports: job development, job shadowing, community worksite assessments and job coaching.  When an individual successfully gains community employment, a job coach supports the individual at the employer worksite to ensure long-term success.

Adult Day Program

Goodwill’s Adult Day Program offers a safe, fun atmosphere with a high staff-to-person served ratio focused on quality of life for those who meet our entry criteria and are located in the Sioux City Area. This service supports frail, physically or cognitively impaired adults including those with Alzheimer’s and Dementia.
