Briget Solomon


Chief Executive Officer

Briget began her career with Goodwill as a Human Resources Associate in 2004. Serving Goodwill in various roles through her tenure, she leads as Chief Executive Officer. Briget is a graduate of Wayne State College, Wayne, NE and received her Master’s Degree in Organizational Leadership at the University of South Dakota, Vermillion, SD. She is a graduate of Leadership Siouxland and Goodwill Industries International Senior Leadership Development Program. Briget is mission-driven, strategic and has a passion to develop leadership in others.

Charlotte Nelson


Chief Growth Officer

Charlotte began her career as Compliance Officer to the agency and Executive Coordinator to the President and CEO in 2007. She was promoted to Vice President of Administrative Services in 2010. She was then promoted to Chief Administrative Officer in 2012. Charlotte leads agency administrative support & legal compliance, grants, information technology, HUD properties and CARF compliance. Charlotte previously worked as a managing legal assistant and legal secretary for two Sioux City law firms and has graduated Leadership Siouxland. She volunteers as a board member for Leadership Siouxland.

Vilay Keokenchanh


Chief Operating Officer

Vilay Keokenchanh began his career with Goodwill in 2006 as the Director of Sales. He became the Vice President of Retail in 2009. He was then promoted to Chief Operating Officer in 2012. Vilay formerly worked as a territory manager for Harker’s Distribution, sales consultant for Verizon Wireless and sales manager for the UPS store. He also holds a degree in Professional Studies from Briar Cliff University, Sioux City, IA and a MBA from Jack Welch Management Institute. Vilay has completed the Goodwill Industries International Senior Leadership Training Program and Executive Development Training Program.

Shawn Fick


Vice President of Mission Advancement

Shawn began his career with Goodwill as the Director of Mission Services in 2018 and was promoted to Vice President of Mission Advancement in 2022.  He started his career working as a Patrol Officer, Detective, and Patrol Sergeant in Vermillion, SD, and later as a Deputy Sheriff for the Sheriff’s Office in Clay County, South Dakota.  Prior to starting with Goodwill, Shawn worked at Western Iowa Tech Community College doing workforce development and teaching numerous history classes. Shawn graduated from the University of South Dakota with both his Bachelor’s and Master’s degrees in history.  Shawn has also completed Goodwill Industries International Senior Leadership Development Program and the Leadership Siouxland Development Program.
