Goodwill helped to prepare me to work in a group and learn good skills that will be useful forever.

I wanted to get a job so I could be around people and earn money. I started at Voc Rehab, and then participated in the WAT program.  I liked learning to work and feeling productive.   After the Goodwill WAT program an Employment Specialist helped me find a job at the Civic Center.  I like working at the Civic Center because I enjoy meeting new people and having conversations. I believe that I’m doing a good job there. Goodwill helped to prepare me to work in a group and learn good skills that will be useful forever. Good people at Goodwill.  I would eventually like to get my own place and learn to drive.
