Vermillion Store Construction Update
The new Vermillion store is taking shape and going vertical!
As you can see in the photos above, steel beams are now in place and we should start to see the building really take shape over the next few weeks.
We’re still on target to open in early 2024 – keep checking the blog to stay up to date with the construction progress.
A summer of celebrations at Goodwill
We’ve had quite a summer of celebrations here at Goodwill of the Great Plains – commemorating 100-years since joining the international Goodwill movement.
From May to October, we’ve thrown a customer appreciation party at all of our retail locations in Iowa, Minnesota, Nebraska and South Dakota.

Vermillion Store Progress
We’re continuing to make great progress. The parking lot will start going in next week. We should have the building onsite within the next 1-3 weeks as well and are doing the pre-work until it arrives!
